Taking direction from Managers and Team Leads, the Production Technician will be expected to read and understand electrical schematics, assemble control panels and equipment of varying size and scope to meet client and product specifications, and conduct pre‑testing quality control as well as testing of completed systems. The Technician will also assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance. A background in electrical/control systems and PLC experience are a plus. This position may require infrequent travel for installation/service deployment.

General Expectations of the position:

• Take direction from Managers and Team leads.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Wear proper work attire and PPE.
• Maintain a positive work attitude.
• Be on time at the start of the day and on time returning from breaks and work until the end of the day.
• Give adequate notice for personal time off (PTO).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Offer level and rate will be based on relevant skills and years of experience.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience.
• Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable).
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR).

Physical Requirements:

• Safety glasses and PPE must be worn daily.
• Hand protection, either cut‑resistant gloves or leather work gloves as appropriate.
• Hearing protection when required.
• Steel or composite toe boots or shoes for daily use will be purchased; reimbursement may be requested for one pair once a year.
• Physical exertion may vary; the Technician may regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Assembling may involve manipulating small parts and using hand tools. Good hand‑eye coordination and dexterity are essential; occasional repetitive motions are expected.
• Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facility.
• Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights. Conditions are seasonal (hot in summer, cold in winter).
• Availability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities (Stone Mountain, North Wales & West Chester) and/or client sites. Some travel may require overnight stays.
