Mission Critical Group is seeking a Production Support Technician to assist Blast and Brake forming, ensuring timely movement, storage, and organization of materials on the production floor. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and proactive problem solving to minimize downtime and support operators.

The successful candidate will read work orders, handle materials, and maintain organized staging areas, contributing to continuous workflow and efficiency on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials and components to Blast and Brake forming operators as needed
• Remove finished or processed materials from workstations and relocate to the appropriate areas
• Transport work sections between staging areas and active workstations
• Organize and maintain staging areas with clear job number identification
• Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

The Production Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the Blast and Brake Forming areas. This role will provide safe and timely movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the production floor to support maximized efficiency and reduce downtime for machine operators. This role requires a safety-first mindset, with strict adherence to all safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment. The Production Support Technician demonstrates strong ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for their work area, anticipating team needs, and contributing to continuous improvement and overall production flow.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 5am to 1:30pm

Accountabilities

Physical Requirements

• Typical of a Manufacturing/Warehouse floor. May be cold in winter, warm in summer. Noise level commensurate with machine operation, fork trucks, general industrial activity.
• Possess basic tools including gear wrenches, impact gun, torque wrenches, metric & standard sockets.
• Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/ blueprint. Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
