Job summary

Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) is seeking a Production Support professional to monitor critical applications, run dashboards, and triage incidents in real-time. The role focuses on day-to-day health checks, issue triage, and coordinated resolution with multiple tech and business partners.

You will work with developers, infrastructure, and database teams to diagnose issues, document runbooks, and participate in post-incident reviews to identify root causes and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Experience in production support for enterprise systems.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL and debugging skills.
• Experience with incident management and RCA methodologies.
• Ability to monitor dashboards and batch jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production support activities, including dashboard monitoring and application checks.
• Monitor system performance and availability; identify anomalies and initiate investigation.
• Provide high-level incident triage and resolution, including ownership and escalation as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues using logs, SQL queries, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Support and monitor batch processing, including scheduling, failures, reruns, reconciliation, and dependency checks.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, database teams, and business stakeholders to drive issue resolution and communication.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles; contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to document root causes and preventive actions.
