Areté in Niwot, CO is seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to design manufacturing processes and procedures for ruggedized electro-optical and laser-based systems. This full-time position involves working closely with Senior Engineers to ensure mechanical integrity throughout development and production phases.

Responsibilities include supporting mechanical design improvements, conducting testing, and leading investigations for production issues. A generous benefits package, including health insurance and 401(k) contributions, is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Experience reading drawings and creating process flow.
• Ability to implement hardware solutions from concept to delivery.
• Proficient in organizing and processing data in Excel.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Support transition from prototype development to full-scale production.
• Lead mechanical root cause investigations for hardware issues.
