Job summary
Areté Associates in Healdsburg, CA is seeking an NPI Engineering Service Representative to provide electro-mechanical design, drafting, assembly and production expertise in an NPI environment.
The role emphasizes assembling and testing complex electromechanical and opto-mechanical systems for maritime and aerial applications, with emphasis on circuit boards, harnessing, documentation and delivery to schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong electronics and mechanical background including assembly, tuning and troubleshooting electronic/mechanical devices.
- Soldering surface mount components and harness connectors.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.
- Thorough understanding of hand tools, soldering, crimping and measurement equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, repair, rework and troubleshoot complex electromechanical assemblies, circuit boards and harnesses.
- Provide field support (following appropriate training).
- Maintain system files and track assembly documents.
- Ensure tasks meet customer delivery dates.
- Develop assembly and test documentation, procedures, and fixtures as needed.
- Assemble and test systems.
- Assist in lab and field test experiments.
