Job summary

Areté is seeking an electronics technician to assemble, test, calibrate, and repair complex electronic and electro-optical systems in Niwot, CO. You will work from schematics and drawings, performing calibration and alignment checks with related equipment.

The role requires an associate degree or 4+ years in a related field, hands-on lab maintenance, and the ability to travel for field tests. This full-time, non-exempt position offers competitive benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 4+ years of related Experience required.
• Strong electronics knowledge and ability to work with sensitive circuitry.
• Experience in a production electronics environment preferred.
• Familiarity with basic electronics equipment and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-optical and electronics units from design documentation.
• Set up test apparatus and conduct testing of electrical, optical, and electro-optical assemblies.
• Adjust and calibrate systems as needed and document results.
• Develop, write and edit assembly and test procedures.
• Support field tests and interact with suppliers and customers as needed.
