Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to sustain enterprise cryptographic platforms, key management, and authentication workflows across the organization. The role covers operations, engineering, and platform stewardship for security infrastructure handling keys, credentials, and access control.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Oracle Key Vault, Thales HSMs, Thales Cipher Trust, and related technologies, with 5–10+ years in production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in production support, infrastructure security, cybersecurity engineering, IAM, PKI, or enterprise cryptographic services.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Key Vault, Thales HSMs, Thales Cipher Trust, or similar key management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for enterprise cryptography platforms ensuring high availability and incident response.
• Administer Oracle Key Vault, Thales HSMs, and Cipher Trust for encryption/key management.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and lifecycle maintenance of cryptographic platforms.
• Manage cryptographic key lifecycles including generation, rotation, escrow, archival and decommissioning.
• Support HA/DR capabilities for critical authentication and cryptographic infrastructure.
• Collaborate with application/infrastructure/IAM/security teams to integrate apps with cryptographic services (KMIP, PKCS#11, JCE, APIs).
• Troubleshoot production incidents related to encryption, certificate/key management, and HSM availability.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement of recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, procedures, and controls evidence.
• Support audit/compliance activities and adherence to standards (FIPS, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Automate routine tasks using Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
