Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security Platform division seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to help build and operate the Key Management Service (KMS). You will contribute to security-grade, scalable backend systems used across OCI.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong Java/C++/Go skills, and a solid foundation in distributed systems and cryptographic operations, with ownership and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in Java, C++, C, or Go.
• Strong ownership and communication in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, debug, and operate components of OCI’s Key Management Service.
• Develop secure, scalable software for KMS services and related infrastructure.
• Contribute to features supporting key lifecycle management, cryptographic operations, encryption-at-rest, and service integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call readiness and incident response.
