Job summary

TrustThink is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the engineering and modernization of cryptographic systems across the lifecycle—from architecture, modeling, and simulation to software integration, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities include designing architectures, developing MBSE artifacts, performing modeling/simulation, and advancing PQC crypto‑agile architectures; the role also involves implementing C++ software and supporting integration and deployment for national security

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with system architecture, interfaces and modeling/diagrams.
• Experience with SysML/MBSE, modeling or simulation.
• Knowledge of cryptography, cybersecurity, or secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and document system architectures, interfaces, and flows.
• Develop system models, diagrams using SysML/MBSE.
• Modeling and simulation to analyze behavior and performance.
• Work with cryptographic systems, key management, secure comms.
• Support PQC and crypto‑agile modernization efforts.
• Develop and integrate application software, particularly in C++.
• Support integration, testing and deployment of new capabilities.
• Solve complex systems problems in support of national security missions.
• Work with specialized cryptographic equipment and key-loading environments.
