Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions seeks an Operations Specialist to join the Purchase & Sales team. You will support daily trade processing, postings, corrections, and reconciliations, acting as a primary contact for clients and internal teams while ensuring SLA compliance.

You will gain exposure to equities, fixed income, and derivatives and learn clearing, custody operations, and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in financial services operations, trade processing, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Finance/Business/Economics background a plus.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 99, or Series 7; to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excel; SQL experience a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage high-volume workloads.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external clients with trade postings and corrections, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Process and verify daily trade transactions across equities, fixed income, and derivatives; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with counterparties and internal teams to ensure timely trade settlements.
• Maintain supervisory oversight and ensure compliance with FINRA regulations and internal policies.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and accuracy in trade processing.
