Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) Engineering is an organization within Schwab Technology Services aligned to support the technology needs of Schwab Asset Management (SAM), Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS), the Schwab Center for Financial Research (SCFR), and Third-Party Platform teams. WAM Engineering Technology Operations provides Technology Operations support to WAS, supporting Schwab’s growth areas.
You will play a critical role in supporting Schwab Wealth Advisory, focused on high-net worth and ultra-high net worth retail investors. You will work with a team of talented and motivated technologists to ensure applications and processes support Schwab’s WAS business, providing high availability SLAs for our applications. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, communication, negotiation, curiosity, and quick learning, are key for success.
In this role, you will support the growth of the WAS business by providing expert operational support with a focus on automation and customer experience for over 900 advisors. The goal is to ensure reliable systems that drive business growth, owning and refining production operations, observability, maintenance, and incident management tools.
