Lizzie Fortunato: Production Support Assistant (Warehouse/Receiving experience required)

Where You Fit In + What You Will Do:
The Production Support Assistant aids the Production and Operations teams by maintaining inventory organization, preparing materials for studio production, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operational workflows. The primary responsibilities of the position are outlined below:
Inventory Management
- Maintain an orderly inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods (both physically and digitally).
- Confidence in inventory/barcoding/warehousing systems to accurately track inventory via our computer systems is required for this position.
- Assist in tracking bin locations and update systems when materials move or are consumed.
- Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and system updates to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Receive, unpack, and count shipments; label, sort, and store materials in their designated locations.
- Support the Production team with RTV packages and related shipping logistics.
Style Allocation & Production Prep
- Prepare materials for production based on allocation sheets + direction from the Production team.
- Accurately process for allocation by sorting, counting, pairing, and labeling components.
Receiving, Quality Control & Data Entry
- Receive incoming packages with materials and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Conduct basic QC checks (verifying color, count, finish quality) based on LFJ’s standards and approved samples.
- Flag any/all discrepancies and quality concerns to the Production Coordinators or Manager.
- Enter receipts, inventory adjustments, and status updates into our internal database and project management tools.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors when arranging basic logistics.
Operational & Studio Support
- Assist with labeling, SKU organization, and maintaining digital product files.
- Contribute to overall studio upkeep—including restocking supplies and maintaining a tidy, organized workspace aligned with LFJ standards (i.e. breaking down shipping boxes and materials, monitoring the Terracycle, etc).
- Support ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as needed.
System & Tool Maintenance
- Ensure data is entered promptly and accurately so inventory levels remain current.
- Help maintain organization in internal tools, utilizing SKUVault, FilemakerPro, Basecamp, Google Sheets, etc., as tasks move through production stages.
What You Will Bring:
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

- Prior production, inventory, and logistics experience is preferred.
- Prior jewelry, craft, retail stockroom, or operations experience is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable working with repetitive tasks and fine motor work.
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions with precision.
- Reliability and punctuality in a part‑time structured environment.
- Comfortable with basic computer functions, data entry, and Excel is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience

- Hourly position (~25-35 hours/week)
- On-site role in our NYC studio
- Must be comfortable lifting boxes up to 25 lbs
