Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Production Assembly and Support to join our Minnesota team. This role involves hand operations such as labeling, cutting, wrapping products, and packaging while following specific work instructions for each order.

Work Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with a focus on safety and teamwork. The anticipated hourly rate is $17.00, with base pay influenced by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in various units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand operations: applying labels, cutting, wrapping products, and using foot controls.
• Pack products and seal boxes, inspect for quality defects.
• Stack and transport printed materials on pallets as production progresses.
• Read and follow job instructions to produce orders per specification.
• Maintain good attendance and collaborate with coworkers across departments.
• Follow safety rules and adapt to standing or seated work as required.

Your Responsibilities

\

\
• Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cut, wrap products, use tape dispensers and the use of feet for flexion/repetitive motion as in operating foot controls\
\
• Pack products in boxes and tape lids of boxes shut appropriately for proper shipping while inspecting product for any quality defects\
\
• Stack, pack, and transport printed materials in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on delivery tables of specific equipment\
\
• Responsible for reading and following specific job instructions to produce an order according to spec\
\
• Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines as well as be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, vendors while performing daily responsibilities.\
\
• Ability and willingness to float across departments and assist where needed\
\
• Follow safety rules, procedures and standards\
\
• Duties may occasionally be performed while seated but will likely be performed while standing\
\

• Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents\

• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees\
\
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form\
\

Compensation

\

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $17.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The rate listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.\
