Job summary

PTC is seeking a Production Supervisor to set daily productivity goals with the Plant Manager and drive a strategy to meet them. You will coordinate with welding, materials, and quality teams to ensure timely, compliant production and to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising welders, managing inventory, enforcing safety rules, and leading cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining traceability and quality across production activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–10 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret general business and technical material.
• Experience with safety and quality procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available for welding.
• Supervise welders and assign work to maximize productivity.
• Maintain inventory levels for production supplies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Train and discipline subordinates as needed.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity-improvement initiatives.
