About The Organization

Sanderson Pipe Corporation manufacturers plumbing, irrigation and waterworks PVC pipe in diameters '' to 24''. Sanderson Pipe's corporate office is located in Tennessee (Clarksville), with additional production facilities in Kansas (Pittsburg), Texas (Houston), and Florida (Sanderson). Sanderson Pipe supplies PVC pipe to wholesalers for the Southeast and Midwest markets.

Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily production and machine operating process.

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities to employees during the shift.

Comply and ensure all employees are following safety policies and company procedures.

Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completion and submitting reports in a timely manner.

Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and staffing to meet production goals.

Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual growth in job, skill, and knowledge.

Ensure that shifts are staffed adequately to meet production goals.

Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished product meets/exceeds NSF and ASTM standards.

Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize production downtime.

Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product.

Responsible for preparing and conducting performance reviews for production Team Leads in a timely manner.

Lead morale amongst employees to encourage a teamwork environment.

Generate Scrap Summary Reports.

Attend daily production meetings and work closely with the Plant Manager.

Position Requirements

Job Requirements:

Excellent organizational, written and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Ability to pay attention to details, compile information and make decisions

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience required.

Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for 12-hour shift

Be able to climb, bend, stoop and reach overhead

Forklift experience a plus
