Production Supervisors - Live Hang 3rd Shift

General Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. It also involves meeting all reporting requirements for the supervision area. Must be willing to work any shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Train employees and foster an environment for maximum quality and productivity performance.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to optimize departmental policies and procedures, maintaining safety, quality, and employee satisfaction standards.
• Manage employee performance, providing feedback and coaching.
• Promote goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and process enhancements.
• Promote safety throughout the work area.

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Leadership experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field is preferred.
