Job Overview

UC Health is hiring a full-time Night Shift Clinical Supervisor for the Acute Care Cardiology unit at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The Clinical Supervisor will oversee the 6NW floor, providing high-quality acute care cardiology services, ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives, ensuring staff compliance.
  • Ensure availability and functionality of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain compliance with medical laws (EMTALA, HIPAA, House Bill 316).
  • Complete annual nursing competencies.
  • Coordinate with educators for staff orientation and education.
  • Engage staff in performance improvement activities.
  • Provide counseling and report incidents affecting care or work environment.
Qualifications
  • BSN in Nursing required.
  • Current Ohio or compact state license required.
  • Five years of clinical and management experience preferred.
