SpaceX in Texas is hiring a Production Supervisor for the Silicon Assembly (Starlink) team. You will lead manufacturing specialists and technicians through rapid prototyping to high-volume production in a cleanroom, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and operations.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, process improvement with Lean methods, and design-for-manufacturing collaboration, with a focus on quality and meeting customer commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3+ years in manufacturing/test, or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years hands‑on with safety‑critical systems and automated equipment.
• 3+ years of formal team leadership experience.
• NPI/ Assembly and Test in semiconductor back‑end preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing specialists, technicians and maintenance personnel.
• Own safety performance and ensure EH&S training compliance.
• Develop and mentor team members through training and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, 5S and value stream tools.
• Develop and execute daily production plans based on commitments and capacity.
• Analyze production data, resolve issues and lead root cause analysis.
• Lead design for manufacturability and process standardization with engineering.
