United States Digital Space LLC is recruiting a Manufacturing Supervisor for Starlink Silicon Assembly to lead high-performance teams through rapid prototyping to high-volume production in a cleanroom environment.

The role collaborates with engineering, supply chain, operations and management to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement and manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 3+ years in manufacturing/test, or 5+ years without a degree.
• 3+ years hands-on with safety-critical systems, mechanical assemblies, automated equipment, multi-axis heavy equipment.
• 3+ years formal team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing specialists, technicians, and equipment maintenance personnel responsible for process development, product qualification, reliability, and high-volume ramp of silicon packages and flight/consumer hardware.
• Own safety performance and ensure EH&S training and safety policy adherence.
• Develop and mentor team members through training, performance management, career progression, hiring, and discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, lower costs, and improve throughput and quality.
• Develop and execute daily production plans based on customer commitments, manpower, equipment capacity, and material availability.
• Analyze production data, resolve operational issues, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to meet requirements.
• Partner with engineering and process leaders on design for manufacturability, process standardization, and variation reduction.
• Act as the primary technical decision-maker for production, efficiency, and personnel matters.
