Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for Silicon Assembly (Starlink) to lead and scale high‑performance teams through rapid prototyping to high‑volume production in a cleanroom.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with safety‑critical systems, automated equipment, and Lean manufacturing principles, with strong leadership and problem‑solving skills. This role requires extended hours in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing/test teams in a high‑volume setting.
• Hands‑on with safety‑critical systems and automated equipment.
• Experience in a semiconductor back‑end cleanroom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing specialists and technicians for silicon packages and flight/consumer hardware.
• Own safety performance and ensure EH&S training compliance.
• Develop and mentor team through training, performance and discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and waste reduction.
• Create daily production plans considering commitments, capacity, and material
• Analyze production data, resolve issues, and lead root cause analysis
• Take corrective actions to maintain quality and meet customer specs
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability and process standardization
• Serve as primary technical decision-maker for production and personnel matters
