Jabil is seeking a manufacturing leader for a Second Shift role at our Colorado site. The role directs the Machine Support group across a 500-employee medical device manufacturing site and reports to operations leadership.

You will plan production schedules, uphold quality and safety standards, mentor 20–30 direct reports, and collaborate with quality, engineering, and logistics to optimize flow. Experience with MES and ERP systems and a Lean/Six Sigma mindset are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with MES and ERP systems; Lean/Six Sigma knowledge a plus.

This role will have 20-30 direct reports within a 500-employee medical device manufacturing site.

JOB SUMMARY

Directs the activities of the Machine Support group. Responsible for maintaining production schedules and ensuring that quality standards are adhered to by the group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, and mentor production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and production targets.
• Ensure all production activities comply with Jabil's quality standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Monitor and report on key production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and scrap rates.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality, engineering, logistics) to optimize production flow and resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The pay range for this role is $77,500 - $139,500. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
