Pittsburgh Glass Works, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee shift associates, train staff, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across plant operations.

You will manage staffing, assign tasks, and lead continuous improvement efforts to meet internal and customer requirements. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication and leadership capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience assigning work and delegating tasks; team-building is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coach all shift associates, maintain staffing levels, and participate in recruiting and selection activities.
• Direct work activities to achieve production goals and meet customer requirements.
• Provide a safe work environment with safety training, incident investigations, and PPE/LOTO compliance.
• Evaluate associates and arrange needed training for growth and development.
• Monitor production and downtime metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Participate on improvement teams and support quality/process audits.
• Escalate issues to management when resolution requires higher authority.
