Qualifications

• This position requires extensive technical equipment knowledge and past maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and engineering project processes and procedures.
• Engineering degree provides the best foundation; experienced maintenance leader can also qualify.
• Strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to think strategically and prioritize.
• Ability to manage daily tasks of maintaining the research and office facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the direction and daily activities of maintenance staff on all shifts and coordinates with contractors to focus on building maintenance and support.
• Maintain technical knowledge and develop subordinates to service changing equipment; manage resources for prioritization and completion.
• Manage an effective maintenance program to improve facility capacity utilization and productivity.
• Provide a safe and healthy work environment with safety training and compliance to EHS requirements; investigate unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.
