Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Production Supervisor at IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC to lead the Production department, oversee safety, staffing, and daily operations. You will foster a safe, efficient environment and drive key KPIs in quality and throughput.

You will coach hourly employees, enforce policies, and partner with the production manager on goals, scheduling, training, and performance reviews, while maintaining strong employee relations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Preferably with minimum of eight years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain IKO safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Leads safety, housekeeping efforts, and corrective actions within assigned projects and areas.
• Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.
• Leads primary employees to meet established goals including: safety, quality, value, morale, and housekeeping.
• Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of personnel activity at plant.
• Ensures positive employee relations.
• Provides employee coaching and personal development.
• Makes employment decisions.
• Resolve employee issues through problem resolution, utilizing established performance counseling process.
• Enforces plant policies and procedures.
• Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provides regular progress reports to management team.
