Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in roofing and building materials. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality, production, and personnel on the assigned shift, driving targets and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead the shift team, plan scheduling, coach staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes leadership and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in industrial technology, engineering, business administration or management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience in high-speed, continuous process manufacturing is an asset.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools such as TQM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees perform work safely and efficiently in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Supervise and support assigned shift personnel to meet production and quality standards.
• Plan and manage shift scheduling for the production team.
• Provide manufacturing leadership, including employee discipline and performance management.
• Apply lean tools and techniques to improve existing processes and maintain documentation.
• Identify training needs, coach employees, and support development plans.
• Conduct training, cross-training, and rotation of employees across roles.
• Ensure training on safety, production, and quality procedures.
• Lead safety inspections and weekly crew meetings; address safety near-misses and hazards.
• Collaborate with other production supervisors to ensure operational consistency.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
