Job summary

IKO Glass Fiber Inc. in Chester, SC seeks a Production team member to support batch operations, inventory, and quality control. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures in a high-temperature manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow simple instructions while handling materials and inspections across the batch/binder areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.
• Ability to work at times in a high temperature environment.
• Frequent lifting or moving materials up to 10 lbs (and up to 50 lbs as needed).
• Three or more years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain batch inventory, quality, and supply to furnace.
• Perform batch unloading, inspections and document inspections.
• Clean batch house and binder area daily and maintain clean condition.
• Report batch area downtime or issues immediately to Furnace Engineer.
• Maintain binder mix operating parameters and inspect binder mix areas.
• Troubleshoot Batch and Binder system issues.
• Provide assistance to Furnace Engineers, Quality Manager and Process Engineer.
