Carmeuse North America is seeking a seasoned production supervisor for its Cedarville, MI operations. You will lead safety adherence, quality, and environmental programs while coordinating material flow and shift operations.

The role requires 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing, union presence, and strong people skills to drive continuous improvement and reliable production.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline; bachelor’s preferred.
• 5+ years direct production supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong material management skills focused on quality, safety, environmental matters.
• Experience in mining, paper, steel, cement sectors preferred.
• Self-starter with results orientation; prior union experience.
• Strong interpersonal/people skills; positive and proactive attitude.
• Detail- and process-oriented with strong problem-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adhere to safety and environmental programs.
• Identify actions to prevent nonconformities relating to product or process.
• Oversee loading of raw materials into the operation and shipments.
• Distribute finished goods by rail and truck.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts.
