Job summary

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises production personnel to ensure orders are produced promptly and meet safety and quality standards.
• Learn and understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures to lead production areas.
• Analyze discrepancies to devise and implement corrective actions.
• Train and support new and current employees to ensure understanding of roles and responsibilities.
• Provide feedback in performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and hiring/termination decisions for production personnel.
• Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems.
