Job summary

Mativ seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the Windsor, CT production floor within the Sustainability & Adhesives Solutions (SAS) unit. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, reporting to the Production Manager, and ensuring continuous improvement across shifts.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, scheduling, KPI tracking, and cross-functional coordination to meet department goals while maintaining a strong safety culture and waste elimination practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven hands-on leadership ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of management.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Access; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety by following policies and improving safe work practices.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and educate personnel on equipment use.
• Ensure production department performance by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
• Execute production plan by scheduling personnel on regular time and overtime; adjust schedules and priorities as needed.
• Provide coaching and disciplinary actions while ensuring adherence to policies and ADP schedules.
• Maintain high quality by understanding requirements and driving root-cause corrective actions for non-conformances.
