Job summary

Florida’s Natural is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team on the production floor and ensure nightly output meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You’ll manage schedules, mentor operators, coordinate maintenance, and report metrics to the Nightshift Unit Manager.

Upholding OSHA, GMPs, HACCP, and lean practices in a fast-paced citrus environment, you’ll drive continuous improvement and cost effectiveness across the shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage experience a plus)
• Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and team-building skills
• Working knowledge of safety standards (OSHA), GMPs, HACCP, and lean principles

Responsibilities

• Lead the Night Crew: supervise and motivate a team of production operators, technicians, and material handlers to meet nightly production goals
• Execute the Plan: manage shift schedules, machine uptime, and production workflows to ensure efficient and timely output
• Safety First: champion a safety-first culture; conduct safety talks, enforce procedures, and lead by example
• Quality Obsessed: ensure products meet internal and regulatory quality standards; partner with QA to address issues
• Real-Time Problem Solver: address mechanical, material, or personnel issues on the fly to keep the line running smoothly
• Train and Develop: coach team members on best practices and identify growth opportunities
• Track the Metrics: monitor production data, downtime, and yields; provide nightly reports to operations leadership

The production supervisor oversees and coordinates all activities related to the operations department within the Supply Chain. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient processes, maintaining quality standards, managing personnel, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

This position reports to the Nightshift Unit Manager

What you’ll do:

• Track the Metrics: Monitor production data, downtime, and yields. Provide nightly reports to operations leadership.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage experience is a plus)
• An Associate’s Degree in a relative field with preference given to Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years + experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
• A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and team-building skills
• Working knowledge of safety standards (OSHA), GMPs, HACCP, and lean principles
• Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work holidays or weekends if needed (it’s peak season — citrus doesn’t sleep!)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
