Job summary

Swoon is launching a new manufacturing facility in Winder, GA and seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead about 25 production employees and 2 leads, building the operation from the ground up. This role offers growth potential into a Production Manager position, with coaching, safety culture focus, and close collaboration with Engineering, HR, and Purchasing to keep the operation running smoothly.

Schedule is 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with some flexibility; the climate-controlled facility supports a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on leadership in an hourly manufacturing setting.
• Sheet metal or similar metal manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable in a start-up/new facility without a fully established playbook.
• Strong coaching, problem-solving, and employee development skills.
• Lean/continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

• Be highly visible on the production floor and address issues in real time.
• Help establish processes and workflows in a developing facility.
• Drive production, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee training, scheduling, performance management, and employee relations.
• Partner with Engineering, HR, Purchasing and other teams to keep operations running efficiently.

A well-established, privately owned manufacturer of HVAC and air-control products is launching a new manufacturing facility in Winder, GA and is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to help build the operation.

This person will lead approximately 25 production employees and 2 leads, with the team expected to grow significantly. This is the first leadership role at the facility, offering strong potential to grow into a Production Manager position.
