Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong emphasis on state and local safety regulations and training.
• Experience leading Lean/Kaizen activities strongly preferred.
• Experience with TPS or similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of production workers in day-to-day manufacturing operations including safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvements.
• Ensure all safety rules and programs are followed; audit and address hazards, equipment issues, and personal safety violations.
• Monitor production schedules and customer demands to ensure accurate and timely order completion; respond to deviations and schedule adjustments with urgency.
• Drive standardized work within the assigned area.
• Employ Lean and Six Sigma concepts; conduct Kaizen events; drive 5S and visual management.
• Support Quality Control circle activities; participate in corrective action/root cause events.
• Train staff on new and existing work, machinery, tools, and processes aligned with quality systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on KPIs (schedule attainment, OEE, productivity, volumes, on-time delivery, downtime, headcount, payroll approvals, safety) and continuous improvement projects.
