Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production, and shipping. You will ensure smooth workflow, uphold safety, quality, and USDA standards, and drive productivity on the floor.

You will mentor the team, collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime, and implement lean initiatives. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies a salary of $68,000–$102,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on associate development.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, customer specs, output goals and quality standards.
• Lead and support hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production and shipping.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide regular updates to management.
