Perdue Farms Inc. in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Production Supervisor on 1st shift to lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will coach staff, manage daily plans, monitor performance, and partner with maintenance and QA to uphold USDA, HACCP and lean initiatives while driving continuous improvement. Strong communication and people development are essential.

Competenze

• 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite

Mansioni

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, output goals and quality standards
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Optimize labor, raw materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations
• Maintain accurate production records including output, quality metrics and attendance
• Provide regular updates to management on production status, challenges and opportunities for improvement
• Act as a liaison between production teams and other departments (engineering, QA, supply chain)
