Job summary

UW Interco, LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate all operational activities, driving safety, quality, and on-time production. This hands-on leadership role uses Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and deliver consistent output.

You will manage a cross-functional team on the 1st shift, monitor KPIs, ensure proper equipment setup (CNC routers, coating lines), and promote continuous improvement while keeping a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team with safety and quality at the forefront.
• Execute and monitor daily production activities to meet schedules and quality targets.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Ensure setup and operation of coating and cutting equipment (CNC routers, coating line).
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Track KPIs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
