Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor in South Chesterfield, VA. You will lead team leaders and hourly production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output while driving continuous improvement and standard work across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, 5S/Lean experience, and collaboration with supply chain and quality teams to meet production targets and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team leaders and hourly production staff; ensure safety, set expectations, provide coaching and feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule and ensure quality and productivity standards.
• Coordinate with supply chain, quality, and shipping to meet targets on time.
