Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Chester, VA. You will lead team leads and hourly staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets. Strong communicator with coaching and supervisory skills is essential.

Responsibilities include maintaining the production schedule, coordinating with supply chain and quality teams, enforcing safety rules, developing standard work, and fostering a positive work environment. Some weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leaders and hourly production staff; ensure a safe work environment and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Coordinate with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments.
