Job summary

Insight Global seeks a manufacturing supervisor to lead safety, quality, and production across assigned operations. You will supervise about 8 people, guide training, and ensure staffing and production goals are met while reporting on results.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing, especially plastics/extrusion, and a proven track record of leading teams in automated environments. Expect collaboration with the Production Manager and a focus on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory or management experience (lead experience alone will not qualify).
• Manufacturing background.
• Proven leadership experience managing employees and production operations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all safety, quality, and production activities for assigned operations.
• Supervise and develop approximately 8 employees while maintaining staffing and production goals.
• Complete production reporting and operational documentation.
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and process issues.
• Coordinate resources and labor to maximize production efficiency.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Drive accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and communicate results to leadership.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to support overall plant operations and prepare for future leadership opportunities.
