Job summary

George's Foods, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct production team members by planning and assigning work, enforcing GMP/SSOP/HACCP policies, and recommending improvements while keeping a safe, sanitary work environment. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing/processing operations or a Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Prior leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet product standards, while maintaining or improving product yield.
• Ensure a safe work environment and address issues on production lines.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Train and develop employees in all areas related to their jobs.
• Work to continuously manage and improve products and processes.
• Help develop objectives and standards for production lines and monitor results for improvements.
• Observe the plant for hazards and ensure safety reporting and investigations are handled promptly.
