Job summary

George’s Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Cooling Supervisor to lead production teams in Batesville, AR. You will plan and assign work, enforce GMP/SSOP/HACCP policies, and suggest improvements to production methods while ensuring a safe, sanitary workplace.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing or a Bachelor’s in Poultry Science/Animal Science, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Prior shipping/cooler and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/processing operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor's Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Meet product standards while maintaining or improving product yield.
• Ensure a safe work environment and monitor production line issues.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Train and develop employees in all related areas.
• Work to continuously manage and improve products and processes.
• Develop objectives and standards for production lines and monitor results.
• Report hazards and ensure proper safety investigations.
