Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/processing operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Meet product standards while maintaining yield or improving production efficiency
• Ensure a safe work environment and address issues on production lines
• Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Train and develop employees in all areas related to their jobs
• Work to continuously manage and improve products and processes
• Develop objectives and monitor results for individual production lines
• Observe the plant for hazards and ensure safety reporting and investigations are timely
