Job summary

George’s is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct production team members, plan and assign work, and enforce GMP, SSOP, and HACCP policies. The role emphasizes safe, sanitary conditions, training, and continuous improvement across production lines.

You will lead teams, monitor yield, manage paperwork, and drive corrective actions to enhance productivity and compliance in our poultry processing facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/processing operations or a Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Meet product standards while maintaining or improving product yield.
• Ensure a safe work environment and monitor issues on the production lines.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Responsible for training and developing employees in all areas related to their jobs.
• Work to continuously manage and improve the products and processes.
• Help develop objectives and standards for individual production lines and monitor results for process improvements.
• Observe work area and plant to report or correct hazards and ensure safety investigations are handled promptly.
