Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams, plan work, and drive safe, efficient operations. You will collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize workflows, monitor staffing, and push for continuous improvements while upholding the company’s mission and values.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a production leader in manufacturing, strong data interpretation skills, and proficiency in ERP and assembly management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Leader/Shop Leader.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with ERP software, Assembly management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to create and adhere to production processes and deliverables.
• Must be able to interpret and relay production data and all KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Balances and maintains safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve all areas.
• Provides leadership, management, direct supervision, motivation, positive and professional approach to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.
• Confirms compliance with Safety and Quality professional standards.
• Leads a safe, well-organized workplace with active WPO in a TPS Environment.
• Records daily KPIs and maintains updated reports throughout the day and summarizes at the end of the shift.
• Ensures a healthy employee experience by providing employee coaching and development and resolving employee issues through problem solving.
