Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a shift in our manufacturing operations. You will set production goals, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

This role requires previous team leadership in a manufacturing setting, experience training team members on equipment like forklifts and loaders, and the stamina to work in all environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing on the job training to team members on equipment (forklift, bobcat, loader).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure climbing, bending, and other physical tasks.
• Willingness to work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment; set up and operate machinery.
• Listen for unusual sounds and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Operate forklift safely according to policies and procedures.
• Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program.
• Track and report inventory and parts usage.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees to meet quality standards.
