Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years leadership in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years leadership in foundry preferred.
• Prior experience as lead/supervisor or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet goals and customer needs.
• Communicate priorities with foremen and team members to align resources.
• Create team assignments and communicate expectations for efficient workflow.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and workforce capacity; adjust as needed.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies to support daily operations.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and communicate throughout the day.
• Spend time on the production floor to support employees.
• Ensure quality standards across production processes.
• Train new employees on safety, equipment operation, and roles.
• Collaborate with managers to identify improvements and resolve challenges.
• Conduct performance conversations and provide coaching.
