Job summary

Richmond Auto Parts Technology Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to manage production lines, coordinate shutdowns, start-ups and changeovers, and lead daily shift meetings.

You will work with HR to meet staffing needs, maintain safe, clean work areas, drive efficiency, uphold quality, and train line workers in standard procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, 3 years in manufacturing, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma and 5S; proficiency with MS Office and PLEX is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in production/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of production control operations, procedures, and systems.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job expectations to direct reports and monitors results.
• Trains, plans, assigns and directs work for employees.
• Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees; enforces policies.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Maintains production plans and schedules; monitors progress and reports results on shift.
• Supports 5S/COP activities and continuous improvement.
• Acts as Emergency First Responder as needed.
