Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, food technology or engineering OR two years’ supervisory experience in a regulated industry with a GED/High School diploma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Knowledge of project planning tools and experience using them
• Proven plant financial understanding
• Experience working with and implementing Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production of quality products.
• Maintain strong floor presence, providing direction and real-time support to production personnel.
• Develop team members through training, coaching, and accountability.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (FDA/OSHA).
• Manage personnel and production processes to meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and line performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through problem‑solving and CAPA implementation.
• Coordinate shift start-ups, changeovers, and daily activities for multi‑shift production.
