Job summary

Konecranes in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Production Supervisor for the KHA factory to lead material handling and production staff, with responsibilities across warehousing and manufacturing.

You will drive workflow, supervise personnel, implement Lean initiatives, maintain boards, and promote safety. The role requires hands-on leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and high quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Knowledgeable with ISO quality requirements and OSHA standards; lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Drive the workflow ensuring quality results and on-time delivery.
• Supervise department staff including hiring, performance reviews, and training.
• Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain Pulse and Hour-to-Hour boards and follow up on misses.
• Communicate with employees, peers, managers, and support groups.
• Promote safety programs and safe work practices.
• Support Lean initiatives: 5S, Kaizen, Lean projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
