Job summary

SignResource Jacksboro is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations in Jacksboro, TN. This exempt, full-time role will plan, direct, and coordinate production activities to meet schedules, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to delegate and assign tasks.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to read and operate measurement tools.
• Attention to detail in production settings.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to operate job-specific tools and equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of assembly processes.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct work to meet production demands, quality, quantity, and cost targets.
• Delegate and coordinate assignments to leads and assist as necessary with equipment and materials.
• Coach/train team on performance, quality, and safety.
• Maintain daily communication with team members.
• Manage timesheets, vacations and absences for coverage.
• Lead problem solving and corrective actions as needed.
• Direct and supervise machine setup and operations.
• Analyze and diagnose material, machining, and tooling issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and cost savings.
• Develop procedures, work instructions and training plans for new equipment and processes.
• Motivate and develop workers to achieve goals in a team environment.
• Use inventory software daily to update orders.
