Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Production Department Supervisor to oversee multi-department production operations, manage cost and profitability, and train staff to meet goals. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure safety, coordinate with maintenance, and provide daily feedback while upholding company policies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing with leadership experience and proficiency with UFPI Inside, Citrix, and safety programs. Forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post high school education required.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience; 1–3 years people management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with UFPI Inside system and safety programs.
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM, CI principles.
• Forklift license completed.

Responsibilities

• Manages production operation of multiple departments and shifts.
• Motivates a group of employees for maximum productivity.
• Identifies and resolves production problems and opportunities.
• Evaluates performance and coaches employees.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintains department cost and profitability, and inventory.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.
